Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actress, who gained fame for the films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The film Piano earned her numerous awards including an Oscar. Her career began as an actor on Broadway and Off Broadway. As a child, Helen Keller was her favourite character in a fifth class play. She was born deaf in the one ear due to Mumps, but she didn't allow this handicap to hinder her desire to be an actress. The college she attended was drama before moving between Pittsburgh to New York City to follow her goals. Hunter was able to make her Broadway debut following a chance encounter and Beth Henley, a playwright. They collaborated in Broadway Crimes of the Heart. She made the move into Los Angeles and tried to land films roles. In Swing Shift, she landed a role as a support. In the last three decades, she has appeared on many TV and film shows. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actor and won Women in Film Lucy Award.
